"It is concerning to hear about the specific challenges faced by international students in your story. We would encourage any students facing difficulty to talk to their institution, who will be able to provide the appropriate advice and guidance.
"Universities in Wales have agreed a set of principles for international student recruitment. As part of this, all our universities are also signed up to the Agent Quality Framework, which sets out best practice in working with agents to ensure appropriate information is provided to potential students.”
