“We welcome the results of the 2023 National Students Survey, which continues to be one of the most important ways in which outgoing students can share their opinions about their university experience.
“Delivering a positive experience that supports students to thrive is a top priority for our members. I am pleased to see Welsh universities performing well on course quality, with particular strengths highlighted in key areas such as assessment and feedback and student voice. This is a testament to the commitment and dedication shown by our institutions to adapt, innovate and support students throughout their time at university.
“It’s also great to see the positive outcomes for the students’ union question, highlighting the important work that our higher education students’ unions do here in Wales.
“In light of the pandemic, this year’s outgoing students have faced a unique set of challenges during their studies, and they can be proud of what they have achieved, proving themselves to be resilient, dedicated and adaptable in the face of adversity.
“We value the feedback provided by the National Students Survey which will support institutions to continue to adapt and make improvements in key areas of learning, teaching and the student experience.
“Wales’ universities will continue to work in partnership with students and other stakeholders to ensure students can enjoy the best possible university experience that prepares them for their future career and helps them to fulfil their potential.”
