“We welcome today’s NSS results which show an increase in student satisfaction rates at Welsh universities.
“Delivering a positive experience that supports students to thrive at university is a top priority for our members, and I am pleased to see Welsh universities continue to make progress on improving overall student satisfaction rates and leading the UK in key areas such as assessment and feedback, and student voice.
“This is a testament to the commitment and dedication shown by Wales’ universities to adapt, innovate and support students during challenging times.
“In light of the pandemic, the past couple of years have been particularly challenging for students and they can be proud of what they have achieved, proving themselves to be resilient, dedicated and adaptable in the face of adversity.
“We recognise that we can always do more, and we value the feedback provided by the National Students Survey which will support institutions to continue to adapt and make improvements in key areas of learning, teaching and the student experience.
“Wales’ universities will continue to work in partnership with students and other stakeholders to ensure students can enjoy the best possible university experience that prepares them for their future career and helps them to fulfil their potential.”
