Over the last year, Global Wales has been working closely with Welsh further education colleges and ColegauCymru to support their international activities and partnerships. This includes providing funding for international projects and initiatives, as well as facilitating delegations.
Speaking about the new video, Dr Andrew Cornish, CEO and Principal of Coleg Sir Gâr and Coleg Ceredigion said:
"Wales has a thriving further education and skills sector, with four of our colleges recruiting international students and a sector-wide interest in building partnerships for collaboration. This new video highlights the global outlook of colleges and the benefits of international partnerships and learner mobilities.
"I’m pleased to see the continued outcomes of Global Wales’ work supporting Welsh further education colleges to develop their international activities and partnerships. We want to ensure that all Welsh learners have the opportunity to experience the benefits of international learning, whether that is by traveling abroad, communicating and learning online or developing attitudes, knowledge and skills from key partnerships."
