The Centre’s mission is to provide useful contributions to the evidence base for resources and interventions, that support early intervention for children and families. This enables health, social care and educational professionals to make informed choices about what works, when helping families.

Its primary focus is with socially disadvantaged families, evaluating both home-grown and other programmes with frontline service providers in education, health and social care and voluntary sector.
