Trinh Khanh Ha was awarded the Business and Innovation award, while Nguyen Huu Tu won the Social Impact Award. These awards recognise the exceptional achievements of international students who have studied in the UK and have made a significant impact in their chosen fields.
Trinh Khanh Ha is a graduate of Cardiff Metropolitan University’s MBA programme, where she developed her skills in management and entrepreneurship. Following this, she co-founded Vulcan Augmetics – a tech start-up that develops and manufactures highly functional and affordable robotic arms, aiming to bring technology to the life of people with disabilities in developing nations.
Nguyen Huu Tu, a Cardiff University alumnus, has been recognised for his leading role in mobilising over 86,800 health professionals to organise thousands of health campaigns across Vietnam. During the Covid-19 pandemic he helped organise thousands of doctors to support the health system during this period of intense pressure.
