Welsh universities publish statement on use of NDAs

‘Universities in Wales do not use non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in cases of sexual harassment or abuse.

‘It is critical that all our staff and students feel safe and supported and we would consider the use of NDAs in these cases to be inappropriate.

Universities in Wales are committed to creating a culture where members of our communities feel safe, supported and can reach their full potential and thrive.

‘This includes not using NDAs in cases of sexual misconduct, harassment or abuse. This position reflects best practice across higher education and wider society.'
