A Technicians’ Network steering group has been established to support technicians across Welsh institutions (and support Welsh institutions to support their technicians). The steering group brings together expertise across eight universities in Wales.
The Technicians’ Network focuses on the enabling of best practice and collaboration to strengthen the research infrastructure in Wales as well as providing a forum and space to prompt institutional collaboration and skill sharing.
The Technicians’ Network steering group is building a technical community across Wales. The steering group will identify opportunities and activities across all of the institutions in Wales which can support the technical community in Wales. Activities and learning opportunities within the Technicians’ Network are collaborative and demonstrate how this can support the research infrastructure in Wales.
